In 1991, David began his career in the financial field as a CPA for an international accounting firm in Jacksonville. There, he developed a strong sense of responsibility to his clients which led him to begin his own financial services firm, Holland Financial in 1997.

David discovered he had a gift for breaking down complex financial concepts, financial terms, products and services, into layman's terms. To help educate people about money and the impact planning can have on their futures, David wrote two books, Confessions of a Financial Planner: Secrets to a Secure Retirement and How to Get Great Advice & Avoid Financial Scams.

Over the years, David has continued to generate educational content to help people PlanStronger™. He has created videos, newspaper columns, hosted a popular weekday radio show and most recently, produced PlanStrongerTV™, nine seasons of a television show that features experts on retirement and financial planning (WDSC Channel 15, 6:00 pm, daily). PlanStrongerTV™ also airs on public television stations around the country.

When not in the office, David enjoys travel, fitness training and cycling, as well as personal time with his wife, Toni, and their three children.
