A Certified Valuation Analyst®, or CVA®, is an individual who has been trained and educated on how to value private business enterprises. He/she must acquire a thorough understanding of a company’s dynamics. Valuators must analyze the financial health of the enterprise and its future profit potential. This highly complex process will ultimately conclude with the value of the business.
